I love Charleston. A good motorcycle friend moved down to Mount Pleasant in the 'burbs of Charleston about 15 years ago. We visit often, staying on the Isle of Palms at a little hotel on the beach next to Windjammers. There is plenty to do on the two islands Isle of Palms and Sullivan. Biking, surfing, throwing frisbee on the beach. The later Sullivan is home to Poe's Tavern, a great place for craft beer and an awesome burger. This weekend we are down for a wedding at a country club on Daniel Island on Saturday but our extended visit...

Patti and I are doing a road trip to New Orleans for Halloween weekend. Her plan is to meet up with college friends. My plan is to ride 1200+ miles in a day in the rain on the motorcycle and then visit all the breweries. We'll be doing the tour at Abita, north of town. Then, 40 Arpent, Chafunkta, Covington Brewhouse, Day and New Orleans Lager and Ale (NOLA) of course. All craft beer goes well the best oysters in the world found in the French Quarter. All Patti's friends are wine snobs (me included), but a craft beer...

The light bulb went off above my head. Trying to think back 35 years of what jazzed me the most about the printing business I came to the conclusion that the only thing I like more than making things and getting my hands 'dirty' in the process is working with other small manufactures/entrepreneurs. The craft beer business has exploded. Since we started that many years ago we have helped brewers grow by helping them out with what they need in the manufacturing process. In the keg filling business that turn-around with time is critical. Besides everything else that happens to that...
